NEW ARRIVAL
TURNING WOODS FROM TASMANIA

We have just received another spectacular shipment of turning woods from Tasmania (Australia). The same cutter we have been working with for over 15 years did these. In all honesty I can say that in all cases the wood in this shipment is the best that it gets-over the top spectacular.

This is one of finest burls for turning found in Australia. This has dense burl eyes set against a marble cake swirl of brown, tan, white, and black. Each burl piece is unique. There isn’t a weak piece here. The sizes available are all over the place; blocks are usually 3” to 4” thick 6” X 6” to 15” X 15”. There are squares of random lengths from 2” X 2” to 4” X 4”. We will attempt to pick pieces as close as possible to your request.
