The ultimate fine abrasive. This special cloth/rubber based "sandpaper" goes to 12,000 grit. Each package contains (9) 4" x 3" and a special rubber pad. Grits are 1500 to 12,000. Sheets can be washed to extend their life. If properly used these abrasives will far out last regular sandpaper. Use them for the ultimate finish

I just started making pens and was using sandpaper up to 600 grit and was getting what I thought was a good finish. This product gives an incredible finish beyond my expectations.

I have used this product for the last 3 years and find it excellent for a smoothing and polishing medium on all my pen creations. Some of the more oily and finer grained wood appears to not need a finish when done. Cocobolo and olive wood are 2 of these. Make a good transition from fine lathe tooling and you should have no problems.
