Its light weight, and with less overhang which is perfect for smaller lathe spindles. The small 1.79" body length delivers less overhang from the spindle than the larger geared chucks - reducing stress on the smaller lathe spindle.

Shipping Charges and Policies
In United States (including Alaska and Hawaii): $8.50 flat rate charge per order. Packages will be sent by Fedex,UPS,priority mail or first-class mail at the company's discretion based on weight and value. All packages are insured. Premium services such as UPS next day or second day shipments will be billed at actual charges plus the $8.50 flat rate fee.
Now Offering Free Shipping on orders of $250 or more. Free standard shipping is eligible on all orders of $250.00 or more being shipped to addresses in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping / Taxes do not count toward the $250.00 qualification. Item(s) must equal up to $250.00 or more. There will be no special code to receive the free shipping but you must select FREE SHIPPING as the shipping option during checkout.
Alaska and Hawaii: All packages will be sent by priority mail insured. Actual charges plus the $8.50 flat rate charge will be billed at time of shipment. We can also ship UPS next day and 2nd day service at additional charges.
Canada: Canadian Shipping is $31.95 and is subject to certain limitations described below. Method: All Canadian orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, International Flat Rate. Time: Most Canadian orders are shipped within 1 business day after the payment for your order is received. Orders that do not meet the limitations described below, will delay shipping. Limitations: Canadian orders are shipped in a Flat Rate Envelope. A box is placed inside this envelope and the maximum dimensions of the box are 9 x 6 x 2 inches. Also, the entire package cannot weigh more than 4 pounds. If your order is too large for a single box, We will contact you to see if you would like to pay for an additional package. Additional packages are $31.95 each. Insurance: Insurance is available for Canadian orders and can be purchased by stating in the comment section during checkout, we will email with additional costs. We ship orders to almost all countries, as long as USPS currently ships there. BREXIT - Any orders after Jan 1, 2021, shipped directly to the UK or EU countries must now be over $200.00 US (not including shipping). This is due to the new BREXIT restrictions on all non-UK merchants. Foreign (non-Canadian) Shipping is $42.95 and is subject to certain limitations described below. Return Policy We, at The Berea Hardwoods Co. Inc., take great pride in the quality of our products. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price. To return a product, please call or email our Customer Service Department at 877-736-5487 or firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Write the RMA number on the outside of the box or envelope. Ship the product back to us and we will process your return promptly. Do not return any item to us without authorization. Unless the product being returned is defective or is not the item you ordered, you are responsible for the shipping charges incurred when returning any product. All items accepted for return must include all original instructions and packaging. Pen and project components will not be accepted for return unless originally purchased as components. Items that have been abused or modified from their original condition may not be accepted. Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 48 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card issuer or bank, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
Please Note: Any items returned after 30 days from the original date of purchase, will be subject to a restocking fee. The maximum amount of any refund is the cost of the purchased item, including sales tax, if applicable, and excluding any shipping charges. If the returned items no longer qualified the original purchase for a quantity discount level or promotion, the quantity discount/promotions will be reset and any difference will be subtracted from the refund. Refunds will be in the same form that was used for the original payment. In most cases, refunds for returns or any shortages will be issued within 30 days (or usually less) of the return being received. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer, or due to a failure to clear customs, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs or the return shipping cost as well redelivery cost. We apologize but we can not be responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or returned due to incorrect shipping information or failure to clear or pay customs fees or VAT. The post office and couriers do not refund delivery charges for wrong addresses or for customs issues, so please check your ship-to address and contact info carefully. We are sorry, but unless there are major manufacturing flaws refunds will not be issued for blanks or any other items that have been opened, used, turned, cut, drilled, or otherwise altered. Refunds can not be issued for blanks that "blow out" in turning. Special order items (in size, color, design or quantity), are considered custom and specialty and are therefore non-returnable. Special order items will need to be paid in advance.
